Lumerical is looking for a Support Engineer, located in Taiwan, to join the Technical Services Group. As a Support Engineer, you will work closely with customers to help them achieve their R&D goals using Lumerical’s industry-leading photonic design software. In addition to providing technical support, you will provide on-site product training and will be responsible for developing a wide range of technical content including documentation, application examples and training courses. Additionally, you will be a crucial resource regarding product usage and customer feedback and therefore often work closely with the Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience and R&D teams.
As one of the primary intermediaries that exist between Lumerical and its customers, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, a keen interest in physics, and a desire to apply proven technical skills to solve R&D problems currently faced by leading technology firms around the world.
